Chrishell Stause of Selling Sunset fame has revealed that she went under the knife to remove an ovarian cyst. The reality TV star has always opened up about her health and wellness journey. In 2020, Chrishell described herself as the healthiest she had ever been. She revealed that she had been a vegetarian for many years but wasn’t putting a label on it anymore. She noted that she tried not to eat meat but wasn’t saying she was vegetarian or vegan. The TV personality also competed on Dancing With The Stars in 2020 and credited it with helping her overhaul her fitness regimen.
In February 2022, Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause updated her fans about her health. However, it was concerning news this time, as she revealed that she underwent a medical procedure to remove an ovarian cyst. The 41-year-old shared a hospital selfie and revealed that she had minor surgery. Chrishell disclosed that she had a large ovarian cyst removed and thanked Dr. Hakakha for taking good care of her.
Although Chrishell was alone in the hospital in the snapshot she shared, she hinted that she was being well taken care of by her partner, G Flip. The concluding part of her caption read, “Feeling good and being looked after by my 💜. If you have bad unexplained cramps, don’t ignore it!”
Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Celebrates Her Relationship With G Flip
Chrishell’s health update and adorable nod to her partner come a little over a month after they enjoyed the Christmas holidays in Australia. The Selling Sunset star shared several pictures of her and G Flip’s beautiful moments in the Southern Hemisphere. Chrishelle announced that she and G Flip were an item in May 2022, shortly after appearing in their steamy music video for the song, Get Me Outta Here. In September 2022, the reality TV star also praised G Flip, who identifies as non-binary, in a birthday tribute post, describing them as a magical human.
Thankfully, Chrishell’s ovarian cyst removal surgery was successful and didn’t have complications. Although she didn’t give further details about her health scare, it was great that she had G Flip with her amid her recovery. Although their relationship is less than a year old, Chrishell and G Flip seem to be very much into each other and are there for each other every step of the way. Hopefully, Chrishell recovers quickly from the minor setback, gets back on her feet, and returns to doing what she does best.
Ovarian cysts result when fluid-filled sacs appear inside or on the surface of an ovary. These cysts are relatively common and cause little discomfort unless they twist or rupture. Chrishell did well in educating her followers not to dismiss unexplained bad cramps when they occur as they are pointers to ovarian cysts. The Selling Sunset star’s fans will be praying for her quick recovery while hoping that Chrishell’s relationship with G Flip continues to blossom.
